House Appropriations Committee Vice Chair Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) appeared on Fox Business this morning to discuss the government funding bill and the need for the House to pass its appropriations bill. He also addressed the recent deployment of U.S. military assets near Venezuela and President Trump’s actions against narco-terrorist cartels.

During his interview with Cheryl Casone on “Mornings with Maria,” Díaz-Balart highlighted these issues, emphasizing the significance of both legislative action and executive leadership. “Click here to watch the full interview,” he said.

Díaz-Balart has represented Florida’s 26th District in Congress since 2003, following earlier service in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate. He was born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently resides in Miami. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida.
