On Saturday, March 29, former Doral Academy standout Edgardo Villegas’ current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Florida Southern Moccasins.
The game took place at Henley Field. This was their third matchup against the Moccasins this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. at UT Baseball Field against Valdosta State Blazers.
