Sophomore swimmer Frida Stretre Løbersli will represent her team at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 18 through March 21 at the McAuley Aquatic Center.

The event is significant as it marks the 15th consecutive year that a swimmer from Florida International University has been invited to compete at the NCAA Championships. This ongoing streak is currently the longest among all mid-major swimming and diving programs.

Stretre Løbersli is set to compete in the 100-breaststroke event on Thursday, March 19. Preliminaries for this event will begin at 10 a.m., with finals scheduled for 6 p.m. Live coverage of the championships will be available on ESPN+, and live results can be accessed through the NCAA Championships Central page.

This season, Stretre Løbersli has earned three medals at the American Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, including a silver medal in the 100-breaststroke. She also contributed to setting both a school and conference record in the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:36.24 and helped secure another silver medal in the 400-medley relay.

The upcoming competition continues FIU’s tradition of strong performances at national events and highlights Stretre Løbersli’s achievements during her sophomore year.
