In an English-language post at 13:33 UTC, Díaz-Balart wrote: “Tune in today at 10 AM ET to watch @HouseAppropsGOP full committee markup of my FY 2026 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Bill, which strengthens U.S. national security while protecting taxpayer dollars by doing more with less.”

Díaz-Balart followed up with a Spanish-language message at 13:55 UTC: “Sintonice hoy a las 10 a.m. (hora del Este) para ver la reunión del comité completo de @HouseAppropsGOP, donde se presentará mi proyecto de ley de asignaciones para el año fiscal 2026 en materia de seguridad nacional de EE. Díaz-Balart was born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently resides in Miami. He has previously served in both chambers of the Florida Legislature and graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree.
