Mario Díaz-Balart, a long-standing U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 26th District, shared his insights on a range of subjects on his social media account on April 3, 2025. His posts covered significant immigration policies and tragic incidents involving international terrorism.

On April 3, 2025, Díaz-Balart expressed his satisfaction with the extension of the Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelans, noting, “I am glad that the Temporary Protected Status Venezuela for the 2023 designation has been extended until October 2, 2026. I have consistently pushed for a secure border and an immigration system that is fair, safe, and follows the rule of law. I will continue to stand with”.

Later, on the same day, Díaz-Balart reiterated the message in Spanish. He stated, “Me alegra que la designación del 2023 Estatus de Protección Temporal (TPS) para Venezuela haya sido extendida hasta el 2 de octubre de 2026. In another message shared on the afternoon of April 3, 2025, Díaz-Balart addressed an international concern: “According to his family, 22-year-old Uday was murdered and tortured by Hamas terrorists for daring to criticize their ruthless rule over Gaza and their barbaric attack on Israel on October 7. We must stand with Israel in eradicating the scourge of terrorism.” This emphasizes his stance on foreign policy, particularly regarding counter-terrorism.
