Mario Díaz-Balart, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 26th District since 2003, posted a series of tweets on November 5 and 6, 2025, addressing topics related to former President Donald Trump and the situation in Venezuela.

In a tweet dated November 5, Díaz-Balart stated: “El Presidente Trump tiene todo el derecho de proteger a Estados Unidos. A Maduro le quedan los días contados. Su salida es inevitable bajo el liderazgo del Presidente Trump. No se pierda mi entrevista completa con Gloria Ordaz por @Telemundo51. https://t.co/nmPhOlap4S”.

Shortly after, he shared another post containing only a link: “https://t.co/oV36875ywQ” on November 5.

On November 6, Díaz-Balart tweeted about an upcoming live appearance: “EN VIVO con Juan Manuel Cao https://t.co/xvRPgvVLdM”.

Díaz-Balart has been active in public service for decades, having previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1988 to 1992 and the Florida Senate from 1992 to 2000. Born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently residing in Miami, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida.
