Díaz-Balart has represented Florida’s 26th District in Congress since 2003 after serving in both chambers of the Florida legislature.1 He was born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently resides in Miami.2 Díaz-Balart is an alumnus of the University of South Florida.3
