Mario Díaz-Balart, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 26th District since 2003, recently used his social media platform to highlight interviews and messages on key political topics, including the Everglades, immigration, Venezuela, and Labor Day.

On August 31, 2025, Díaz-Balart shared an interview with Glenna Milberg from WPLG Local 10: “Watch my full interview with @GlennaWPLG from @WPLGLocal10 where we discuss the Everglades, immigration, Venezuela, and more.”

The following day, September 1, he posted a brief message recognizing the national holiday: “Happy Labor Day! “

On September 2, Díaz-Balart referenced another interview in Spanish with Gloria Ordaz of Telemundo51. He addressed former President Trump’s record on counterterrorism and recent U.S. military presence near Venezuela: “Mi entrevista con Gloria Ordaz por @Telemundo51. El presidente Trump tiene un historial de derrotar a terroristas. La presencia militar estadounidense frente a Venezuela no es un show.”

Díaz-Balart has served in Congress for over two decades after prior roles in both chambers of Florida’s state legislature. Born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently residing in Miami at age 61, he is also an alumnus of the University of South Florida.
