Mario Díaz-Balart, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 26th District since 2003, posted several statements on July 18, 2025, regarding government accountability and recent legislative actions.

Díaz-Balart has held his congressional seat for over two decades and previously served in both chambers of the Florida Legislature. He was born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently resides in Miami. Díaz-Balart is an alumnus of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
