His posts focused on tax policy proposals and legislative actions concerning Native American affairs.
On July 14, 2025, Díaz-Balart described a new legislative proposal as “The One Big Beautiful Bill is Pro-family, Pro-worker, Pro-America.
-Prevents the largest tax hike ever
-Boosts the Child Tax Credit & savings
-Cuts taxes on tips and overtime for middle-income workers
-Delivers seniors a new tax deduction”. He outlined key provisions aimed at preventing significant tax increases, increasing benefits for families and workers, and introducing deductions for seniors.
Later that day, he elaborated further on these proposals in another post dated July 14, 2025: “More on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act: Tax deductions for working Americans and seniors.

-New deduction for seniors”. The message highlighted additional details such as eliminating taxes on certain types of income and providing specific relief to older Americans.
On July 15, 2025, Díaz-Balart discussed his involvement with H.R. 504 alongside colleagues from South Florida: “I was proud to join my South Florida colleagues, @RepCarlos and @RepMariaSalazar, in passing H.R. 504, which will remove the current mitigation barriers placed on the Miccosukee Tribe by the federal government and enhance communication with the Department of the Interior.” The bill aims to address regulatory obstacles faced by the Miccosukee Tribe and improve intergovernmental coordination.
Díaz-Balart was born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently resides in Miami. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida.
