Mario Díaz-Balart, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 26th District, expressed his acknowledgment of political developments and contributions in international and community affairs through a series of tweets on April 10, 2025.

On April 10, 2025, Díaz-Balart, together with Representatives Carlos and Maria Salazar, praised President Daniel Noboa of Ecuador for his “leadership and the cooperation in national security between the United States and Ecuador.” The statement was made alongside two other congressional representatives who share an interest in fostering international partnerships.

In another post made minutes later on the same day, the trio reiterated their admiration for President Noboa’s leadership, stating “@RepCarlos, @RepMariaSalazar, and I applaud President @DanielNoboaOk’s leadership, U.S.-Ecuador Security Cooperation.” They provided a link to the full statement, underscoring the importance of the cooperation between the two nations.

Later that day, Díaz-Balart offered congratulations to Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, noting “Rabbi Kaploun’s legacy of leadership and service has uplifted countless individuals in the Jewish community.” Mario Díaz-Balart highlighted the rabbi’s influence and the esteem in which his counsel is held by business and political leaders both in the United States and Israel.

Mario Díaz-Balart has been serving in Congress since 2003, prior to which he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 1961, Díaz-Balart currently resides in Miami and is an alumnus of the University of South Florida.
