Mario Díaz-Balart, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 26th District since 2003, posted a series of tweets on September 5, 2025, highlighting his support for former President Donald Trump and advocating for economic policies benefiting working families.

In an English-language post at 18:17 UTC, Díaz-Balart wrote: “When it comes to protecting American lives, no one has been tougher, clearer, or more effective than President @realDonaldTrump.

ISIS – wiped off the map
Soleimani – eliminated
Iran’s nuclear agenda – obliterated

No hesitation. No weakness. Just results.

God bless”.

An hour later at 19:32 UTC, he expressed pride in his work with the Congressional Hispanic Conference: “Proud to be a part of the @HispanicConf advocating for putting more money back in the pockets of working families back home, including Hispanic families.”

Díaz-Balart also shared a similar message in Spanish at 20:42 UTC, reiterating his earlier statements about Trump’s foreign policy record: “Cuando se trata de proteger vidas estadounidenses, nadie ha sido más firme, más claro ni más efectivo que el Presidente @realDonaldTrump.

ISIS – borrado del mapa
Soleimani – eliminado
Agenda nuclear de Irán – desmantelada

Sin dudas. Sin debilidad. Solo resultados.”

Díaz-Balart has represented Florida’s 26th District in Congress since 2003 and previously served in both chambers of the Florida Legislature from 1988 to 2000. Born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961 and currently residing in Miami, he is a graduate of the University of South Florida.
