On May 22, 2025, Díaz-Balart expressed gratitude towards President Trump for prioritizing national security by taking a firm stance against Nicolás Maduro, the Venezuelan leader. He stated: “Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump, for putting our national security interests first by standing firm against the anti-American narco-dictator Maduro, who has turned a blind eye to the migration of the violent group TdA, partners with global terror networks.”

Later that day, he highlighted legislative achievements under Trump’s administration. He tweeted about the passage of significant legislation known as the ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT: “Once again, @HouseGOP is delivering on our promises to the American people–under President @realDonaldTrump’s leadership–with the passage of the ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL ACT.” The bill aims to cut wasteful spending, protect Medicare and Medicaid programs, make permanent tax cuts introduced in 2017 under Trump’s administration.
