Mario Díaz-Balart, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 26th District since 2003, shared updates on his participation at the 2026 House Republican Issues Conference in Doral through a series of posts on his official social media account.

On March 9, Díaz-Balart posted: “Listening to President @realDonaldTrump speak at the 2026 House Republican Issues Conference in Doral, a proud part of Florida’s 26th Congressional District that I’m honored to represent.”

Later that day, he wrote: “Honored to kick off Day 1 of the 2026 House Republican Issues Conference in Doral!” (March 9).

On March 10, Díaz-Balart continued coverage of the event with another post: “Another busy day at the 2026 @HouseGOP Conference Issues in Doral. Always glad to speak with members of the press and discuss how House Republicans are working with President @realDonaldTrump to advance policies that are in the best interests of the American people. Proud to”.

Díaz-Balart has been active in politics for several decades. He previously served in both chambers of Florida’s state legislature before joining Congress and is an alumnus of the University of South Florida. Born in Fort Lauderdale in 1961, he currently resides in Miami.
