The Miami Dolphins announced on Mar. 11 that they have re-signed cornerback A.J. Green III.
Green III has played in 39 career games with two starts over five seasons, spending time with the Cleveland Browns from 2020 to 2023, the Los Angeles Rams in 2025, and the Miami Dolphins in 2025. During his career, he has recorded 26 tackles, including 20 solo tackles, two interceptions, seven passes defensed, and two fumble recoveries. He has also contributed on special teams with 15 tackles.
In addition to his regular season experience, Green III appeared in one postseason game with Cleveland in 2020. He began his professional football career as an undrafted college free agent with Cleveland after playing at Oklahoma State from 2016 to 2019.
While at Oklahoma State, Green III appeared in 48 games with 39 starts and totaled 147 tackles (119 solo), six interceptions—one of which he returned for a touchdown—27 passes defensed, and two forced fumbles.
The re-signing adds depth to the Dolphins’ secondary as they prepare for the upcoming season.
