The Miami Dolphins, in partnership with Verizon, hosted a community event on March 5 to celebrate the “305” area code and showcase local culture. The day-long festivities included appearances by the team’s mascot TD at several well-known Miami establishments.

Throughout the day, fans were treated to complimentary food and drinks at various locations. At Vicky Bakery, TD helped brew café con leche, while at Islas Canarias he served croquetas alongside staff. The mascot also assisted in preparing Cuban sandwiches at Sanguich and visited members of the local fire department.

The celebration concluded with a Happy Hour event at The Bar in Coral Gables from 5–8 PM. Attendees enjoyed an exclusive aqua margarita, live entertainment, and photo opportunities.

According to organizers, the team is already planning for next year’s event.

A range of special offers was available during the celebration:

– Vicky Bakery (Hialeah): Free guava, guava and cheese or meat pastelitos
– Vicky Bakery (Bird Road): Free café con leche
– Sanguich (Little Haiti & Calle Ocho): Free Cuban sandwich and free colada
– Islas Canarias: Free croquetas
– Mary’s Cafe: Free colada
– Knausberry Farm: Free half dozen cinnamon rolls
