The Miami Dolphins announced on March 16 that they have signed edge rusher David Ojabo as an unrestricted free agent.
Ojabo joins the Dolphins after spending four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, where he played in 32 games and made one start. During his time with Baltimore from 2022 to 2025, he recorded 28 tackles, including 15 solo stops, along with 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. He also participated in three postseason games for the Ravens.
Ojabo entered the National Football League as a second-round pick, selected 45th overall by Baltimore in the 2022 NFL Draft. Before his professional career, he played college football at Michigan from 2019 to 2021. In his final season at Michigan, Ojabo earned second-team All-America honors and was named a consensus first-team All-Big Ten selection after setting a school record for single-season forced fumbles with five.
During his collegiate career with the Wolverines, Ojabo appeared in 20 games and started eight times. He totaled 36 tackles, including 25 solo tackles, registered 11 sacks and made five forced fumbles along with one fumble recovery.
The addition of Ojabo is expected to strengthen the Dolphins’ defensive lineup as they prepare for the upcoming season.
