Uche entered the league as a second-round pick (60th overall) by New England in the 2020 NFL Draft after playing college football at Michigan from 2016 to 2019. At Michigan, he appeared in 39 games with nine starts and earned second-team All-Big Ten honors in his final year. During his collegiate career, he totaled 56 tackles (39 solo), 16.5 sacks, three passes defensed, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
A native of South Florida and graduate of Columbus High School in Miami, Uche returns to play professionally near his hometown.
