The Miami Dolphins announced on Mar. 13 that they have signed guard and tackle Jamaree Salyer as an unrestricted free agent.
The signing brings a player with significant experience to the Dolphins’ roster. Salyer has played in 64 career games, starting in 40 of them over four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2022 to 2025. His versatility is shown by his starts at both left tackle and right guard, as well as his participation in three postseason games for the Chargers.
Salyer entered the National Football League after being selected in the sixth round (195th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Chargers. Before his professional career, he played college football at Georgia from 2018 to 2021, appearing in 47 games and making 23 starts across multiple positions on the offensive line.
During his time at Georgia, Salyer contributed to the Bulldogs’ success, including being part of their national championship team in 2021.
The addition of Salyer is expected to strengthen the Dolphins’ offensive line depth ahead of the upcoming season.
