El Portal home prices rise in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in El Portal rose by $44,000 while total sales decreased by 36.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $454,000 - a 10.7% increase over the $410,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in El Portal in September 2018.

The median sales tax in El Portal for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,675, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for September 2019.
