Barry University Athletics issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.
Former Buccaneer All-American and National Champion Adam Svensson (Surrey, British Columbia) earned PGA TOUR card on Monday, Aug 15 by finishing inside of the top 25 of the 2020-21 Korn Ferry Tour regular season points standings. The 43-event combined regular season concluded Sunday evening at the Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Aetna in Omaha, Nebraska. Svensson is returning to the PGA TOUR for a second time.
"It's been a lot of work to get back to the PGA TOUR but I'm pretty excited to tee it up on TOUR again," said Svensson "Hopefully this time I'll be able to keep my card and go from there. Obviously playing on the PGA TOUR is a dream, it's awesome."
