Barry University Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
16 players had a goal or assist in the game
The Barry Buccaneers exploded for 15 goals in an exhibition shutout over St. Sebastian Elite on Wednesday night on Buccaneer Field.

SCORING SUMMARY:
5:55 – The Bucs started off the night by scoring the first goal via a give and go Juan Valiente and Andres Gonzalez inside the 18.
8:23 – The Gonzalez and Valiente duo stuck again for the second goal. Gonzalez booted a shot off the goal post that rebounded to Valiente on the right side.
31:59 – After the Bucs offense earned a corner kick, Scott Little sailed the ball into the far post for a Tyler Dobinson header.
32:19 – Andreas Volk got the ball rolling for a big counter attack down the middle, threading the needle to find Vincenzo Esposito who then served the ball to the middle to Valiente, who then beat the Fox's keeper Caleb Scott one on one.
37:10 – After winning the ball back, Volk pushed a pass up the right side for Caffaro, who used his left-foot to beat Scott.
40:51 – Alec Becker managed to get a boot on a rebound from his own shot that clanged off the left post, cleaning it up for the sixth goal of the night.
41:41 – After the Foxes failed to clear the ball out of the box, Tyler Dobinson capitalized on the their mistake and scored the seventh goal of the night.
43:42 – Timmy Nicholson pounced on a missed touch by Scott and slipped a shot inside the far post.
53:35 – Leading 8-0 at the half, Caffaro got the offense rolling again in the second half, after a nice pass from David Polanco, with a left footed shot, which found the back of the net for the Bucs ninth goal.
60:47 – Yamil Gauna won the ball in the middle, pushed it up to Cesare Marconi for a far post goal from just outside the 18-yard box.
64:41 – Buck battled with the Fox defense to keep possession, played it across the box for Marconi who rattled it in for his second goal of the night.
66:15 – Toby Fura crossed it into the box from the right side, to find Buck who rocketed a shot past Scott for the 12th goal of the night.
69:56 – Jahnoi Hall pushed up the right side to Fura who crossed it into the box for Marconi who drilled a shot from 15 yards out into the upper 90.
73:23 – Marconi sent a long pass down the left side to Cristian Fernandez who ran it down in the corner and played the ball back to Marconi at the top of the 18-yard box. Marconi then worked free to score his fourth goal of the match.
89:18 – With less than a minute left, the Bucs earned a corner kick. Fura threaded the ball through the defense to Polanco who ripped a shot past Scott from just outside the 18-yard box for the Bucs' final goal of the match.
NOTEWORTHY:
Although this was an exhibition game and records do not count, this was the most goals Barry has ever scored in a men soccer match.
The Bucs total of 16 assist are also the most ever.
In all, 16 different players had a goal or an assist.
Both Buccaneer keepers Nils Buecheler and Andres Jaramillo combined on the clean sheet but never faced a shot.
Scott gave up 15 goals, but also had 13 assists, including many spectacular ones.

The Bucs host Miami Sun FC on Saturday, Aug. 28 at 6:00 pm in their final exhibition.
