Miami Dade County issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.
Join Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) as a full-time bus operator. Bus operator trainees will earn $15.49 per hour and after successfully completing the training program, will earn $16.32 per hour to start, plus built-in overtime.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), and proof of having passed the General Knowledge, Air-Brake and Passenger Transport test sections of the Commercial Driver License (CDL) exam.
