Florida Memorial University recently issued the following announcement.
Florida Memorial University's men's basketball team will not face off against HBCU rival Edward Waters University Thursday (Dec. 30) it was announced Wednesday morning as
the game has been postponed due to health and safety protocols with Edward Waters.
It has not been determined if the non-conference matchup will be made up at a later date.
With the postponement, Florida Memorial's men won't be in action again until 2022 when it hosts Sun Conference rival Southeastern University on January 6th at the FMU
Wellness Center.
The Lions are currently enjoying their best start to a season under head coach Ansar Al-Ameen, holding an 8-4 overall record and 4-1 conference record.
