We're hiring! Miami-Dade Parks to host two hiring events for summer jobs

Miami-Dade Parks is hiring! Join the team for the summer season, which runs June through August. Miami-Dade County Parks offers exciting and enriching job opportunities across every corner of the county, with competitive pay well above Florida’s minimum wage.

Earn competitive pay this summer while working one of these seasonal positions: 

Applications are being accepted now through April 30 online at miamidade.gov/jobs. Summer seasonal work starts June 13 and runs through August 5. 

Additionally, interested applicants (17 or older) can apply in person – and even get hired on the spot! – at one of the two hiring fairs hosted by the department: 

  • Saturday, April 23 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tamiami Park (11201 SW 24th St.)
  • Saturday, May 7 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tamiami Park (11201 SW 24th St.)
All positions require the successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check. Lifeguard applicants must successfully complete the appropriate skills exercise and a two-point, high-risk physical examination in addition to the above.
