Kristina Baugh finalized the 2022-23 women's basketball recruiting class with BYU transfer Signe Glantz.
"Siggy is the perfect fit for our program from the instant connections, her wants, experience and skill set," Baugh said. "She has some dimensions to her game that will fit right into our system, such as her abilities to stretch the floor and drive accompanied by her length. She will give us great depth at her position."
Glantz is a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility after spending four seasons in Provo with the Cougars. She played in 34 career games, scoring 20 points and grabbing 26 rebounds.
A member of the Swedish U20 National Team, she played in the European Championships in the Czech Republic in 2019, where the national team finished 12th out of 36 total teams, as well as other tournaments in Turkey and Serbia. The U18 squad won European Championship, Division A in Hungary in 2017 and a silver at the Nordic Championships, while the U16's garnered Gold Medal in Nordic Championships in 2015.
"From the first conversation with Coach Baugh and the girls on the team it just felt right," Glantz said. "I love how there is a family atmosphere on the team where everyone supports and are there for one another. I'm so excited to meet the Barry fam and get to work!"
