Bucs make the biggest jump in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll
The Barry Buccaneers are on a roll and getting noticed for it as they climbed into the Top-10 of the United Soccer Coaches Men's Soccer National Poll this week.
The Bucs were the biggest climbers, moving up from #21 to #7 this week. It's their first foray into the Top-10 since they were ranked eighth in the Sept. 10, 2019 poll.
The Buccaneers are on an eight-game unbeaten streak, going 6-0-2 over the stretch. Barry, who lead the Sunshine State conference with 17 points across their seven games (5-0-2), are currently first in the conference in goals per game (2.82), assists per game (2.36) and goal differential (+17). They rank eighth, 11th and 18th in those categories nationally.
Barry plays an exhibition against non-counting opponent Atlantis on Saturday, Oct. 15 before finishing the season with three more conference games: at Eckerd (Oct. 19), Florida Southern at home (Oct. 22) and Rollins at home (Oct. 25).
