FMU Athletics Director Horn named to Sun Council of Athletic Director's Executive Committee

Sun Conference Commissioner Dustin Wilke is pleased to announce Florida Memorial University Athletics Director Jason Horn to the Sun's Council of Athletic Director's Executive Committee.

"We are thrilled to add Jason to The Sun's Council of Athletic Director's Executive Committee," said Wilke. "Jason is an outstanding leader who will provide profound wisdom and guidance that will benefit all in our conference moving forward."

Horn, who has spent his career engaging with various local and national organizations, also serves as the Sun Conference Athletic Director liaison for both baseball and beach volleyball. On a national level, Horn sits on the NAIA National Administrative Council, specifically on the (NAC) Rules, Awards and Statistics Committee. He also serves on the Transfer Rules Task Force and is a committee member of both the NAIA Hall of Fame and NAIA Membership Evaluation Teams.

Furthermore, Horn is First Vice President of the NAIA Athletic Director's Association and is on the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) Executive Committee. He also serves on the MOAA HBCU and NAIA Committees.

"I am profoundly elated about Jason Horn's appointment to such an esteemed role of Vice President of the National Athletic Directors Association," said FMU President Dr. Jaffus Hardrick. "This appointment makes him the first African-American male to serve in this capacity, which speaks volumes to the organization's commitment to diversity and the recognition of his vast experience in athletics."

The Florida Memorial Athletics Director is also active in the local community, also serving on college football's Orange Bowl Committee.
