Miami-Dade County offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.
Miami-Dade Transit (Read the press release)
- Miami-Dade Transit's Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a regular weekend schedule Saturday, Dec. 24, Sunday, Dec. 25, Saturday, Dec. 31 and Sunday, Jan. 1
- Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a regular weekday schedule Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2
- For New Year's Eve, Transit will operate until 2 a.m. into the early morning of Jan. 1
- Solid Waste Management will not collect trash Monday, Dec. 26, but recycling will be collected Solid Waste service will operate as scheduled Monday, Jan. 2
- Christmas tree drop-off for recycling will be available to Miami-Dade residents who receive waste collection services starting Monday, Dec. 26
- Miami-Dade Public Libraries will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24 through Monday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Dec. 31 through Monday, Jan. 2
- Miami-Dade Parks will remain open

Enjoy the cool Miami nights at the Nightgarden at Fairchild Botanical Garden, an enchanted, illuminated experience full of fantasy and wonderment. - Zoo Lights
Take in over a million dazzling lights and joyous holiday spirit as Zoo Miami hosts Zoo Lights, happening on select nights through Dec. 30. Each night hosts a special theme. Guests are encouraged to dress accordingly.
