Florida Memorial won their third straight contest with a 95-66 crushing victory over Webber International at the Sabbagh Athletic Center. The win keeps the Lions in first place in the Sun Conference.

FMU guard Tianna Ayulo finished with a double-double and scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting and also grabbed 10 boards. The two-time Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week connected on 2-of-5 from downtown and produced two blocks and two steals while teammate Jasmine Worthy generated 18 points and nine rebounds.

The Lions enforced their will on offense, scoring 48 points in the paint. FMU also capitalized on Webber's mishaps, scoring 22 points off 20 Lady Warriors turnovers.

As a team, Florida Memorial shot over 50 percent from the field (35-of-68) while holding their opponents to a dismal 35 percent from the floor (21-of-59). The Lions also dominated the glass, winning the rebound battle 47-33.

FMU guard Aliyah-Deen Ahmad, who was named this week's Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season, filled the stat sheet and produced 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in 35 minutes of action while fellow Lion Chantel Barnett added 13 points and eight boards in the win.

Lameez Khan and Nyah Johnson both finished with eight points apiece for the Lions, who improve to 12-5 overall and 7-1 in conference play.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday, January 18 as they face Florida National in non-conference competition. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. in Hialeah, Fla.
