Miami-Dade County home prices rose in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Miami-Dade County rose by $60,000 while total sales increased by 2.8%.

From January through June of 2022, there were 26,166 homes sold, with a median sale price of $410,000 - a 17.1% increase over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25,460 homes sold in Miami-Dade County in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Miami-Dade County for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,200 approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
