Rep. Díaz-Balart Presents Funding for Virginia Gardens Law Enforcement Vehicle Upgrades

Representative Mario Díaz-Balart (FL-26) has extended an invitation to the media to attend a special check presentation ceremony scheduled for Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The event aims to mark the funding secured for the Village of Virginia Gardens law enforcement vehicle upgrades, including marked police vehicles. The funding for this project was made possible through the Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2024, approved by Congress and signed by the President on March 9th, 2024.

The ceremony will see the participation of key individuals, including Fred Spencer Deno IV, the Mayor of the Village of Virginia Gardens, Raymond Hernandez, the Chief of Police for the Village of Virginia Gardens Police Department, and Steven Oltnan, a Business Owner from Village Hardware.

In preparation for the event, media personnel are asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m. at the Village of Virginia Gardens, located at 6498 NW 38th Terrace, Virginia Gardens, FL 33166. All interested and credentialed media representatives are required to RSVP to Andrea.Morales@mail.house.gov.
