Former Miami Springs Senior High School player and current Tampa Spartans right handed pitcher and third baseman, Anthony Nunez, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Savannah State Tigers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
