Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart is set to honor local veterans from Miami-Dade County at a Congressional Veteran Commendation ceremony. The event will take place on Thursday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. in Miami.
The ceremony will recognize the contributions of several veterans, including Lieutenant Colonel Michael Coote of the United States Army from Miami Lakes, Machinist’s Mate (Nuclear) Pedro Llaguno of the United States Navy also from Miami Lakes, and Lance Corporal Leonardo Polo of the United States Marine Corps from Hialeah.
The venue for this event is the AWS Building located at 8669 NW 36th Street, Miami, FL 33166. The ceremony will be held on the second floor.
