Florida congressmen congratulate Brian Mast on new committee chair role

Congressmen Mario Díaz-Balart, Vern Buchanan, and Byron Donalds have extended their congratulations to Congressman Brian Mast on his selection as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee for the 119th Congress. The Florida representatives are members of the House Republicans' Steering Committee.

In a joint statement, they expressed their support: “Congratulations to our dear friend and colleague, Congressman Brian Mast, on being selected as the next Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee."

They praised Mast's dedication to American values and national security. "Brian is a true champion for freedom, both at home and abroad. His unwavering commitment to defending American values and confronting America’s enemies, honed through his service and sacrifice on the battlefield, sets him apart as a powerful advocate for our country," they stated.

The congressmen emphasized their pride in serving alongside Mast within the Florida delegation. They noted that this achievement is significant for their state: "This is an honor for our state, and we were proud to advocate for him in this powerful position."

Looking ahead, they expressed eagerness to collaborate with Mast in safeguarding taxpayer money while supporting agencies that bolster national security and promote freedom globally.
