Representative Frederica Wilson, serving Florida's 24th district in the U.S. Congress since 2011, recently shared her thoughts on critical issues via social media. On January 22, 2025, she posted a series of tweets addressing reproductive justice and infrastructure funding.

On the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Wilson reflected on her personal experiences prior to the landmark decision. She stated, "I remember what it was like before Roe v. Wade. I ALMOST DIED from a stillbirth." She emphasized the importance of maintaining reproductive rights: "WE CAN’T GO BACK! Today, on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we must keep the fight for reproductive justice alive, even when others want to suppress our freedom."

Later that day, Wilson addressed halted funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law due to recent executive actions. She remarked on its bipartisan nature and objectives: "ICYMI: Funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is currently halted thanks to the flurry of recent executive actions." The law aimed at improving various infrastructures such as roads and airports.

In another post made simultaneously, Wilson expressed concern over potential impacts on Miami-Dade and Broward County infrastructure projects. She noted specific projects at risk: "The impact on Miami-Dade and Broward County could be devastating. This could impact the Northeast Corridor, the Venetian Causeways, and more." She highlighted her involvement in these initiatives over several years.
