She further stated that she would continue to monitor the situation closely.
Later that day, Rep. Wilson criticized charters and private schools for selective admissions practices while voicing support for public education funding. "Charters and private schools cherry-pick, and public schools have to educate everyone—even with less funding." She described this disparity as unfair and detrimental to public education.
