Florida Representative María Elvira Salazar appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss President Trump's foreign policy in Latin America. She praised the President's ability to instill fear in the region's dictators, asserting that "President Trump is the only person who can pick up the phone and make our hemisphere's most ruthless dictators tremble."
Salazar supports Venezuelan opposition figures María Corina Machado and Edmundo González Urrutia. She has consistently pushed for increased U.S. involvement with allies in Latin America to counter socialism, particularly from Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio is leading these efforts as part of the America First foreign policy approach.
