The Yeshiva Maccabees, featuring former Jewish Culture High School Inc standout Benjamin Lasry, earned a 71-69 victory over the Bates Bobcats on Friday, March 6, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
Tipoff was at 1 p.m. at Panzer Athletic Center, marking the teams’ initial meeting in this stage of the tournament.
The Maccabees are set to play again at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Panzer Athletic Center.
