On Friday, March 13, Zahra Daniel, a graduate and former standout at Miami Central Senior High School, played with the Edward Waters Tigers as they suffered a 95-85 loss to the Alabama Huntsville Chargers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest, which tipped off at 5 p.m. at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall, marked the team’s opening tournament game against the Alabama Huntsville Chargers.
