What happened to the median home price in Hialeah during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Hialeah rose by $8,400 while total sales increased by 80.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 1,061 homes sold, with a median sale price of $273,400 - a 3.2% increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 589 homes sold in Hialeah in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Hialeah for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,396, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
