The second half of 2021: Miami experienced a 20.2% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Miami rose by $67,250 while total sales increased by 135.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 4,977 homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 20.2% increase over the $332,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,114 homes sold in Miami in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Miami for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,178, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
