Sweetwater home prices rose in 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Sweetwater rose by $40,000 while total sales increased by 82.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 95 homes sold, with a median sale price of $340,000 - a 13.3% increase over the $300,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 52 homes sold in Sweetwater in 2020.

The median sales tax in Sweetwater for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,776, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for 2021.
