Mario Díaz-Balart, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 26th District, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. In recent tweets, he addressed concerns about federal disaster assistance and the FAFSA process, while also promoting an upcoming television appearance.

On November 15, 2024, Díaz-Balart criticized FEMA's decision to withhold federal disaster assistance from Trump supporters. He described the action as "reprehensible" and expressed anticipation for the investigation results. He emphasized the need for accountability among those responsible for what he termed a betrayal of FEMA’s core mission. "The decision of FEMA to punish Trump supporters by withholding federal disaster assistance is reprehensible, and I look forward to the results of the investigation."

Later that day, Díaz-Balart turned his attention to educational matters. He accused the Biden-Harris administration of failing to reform the FAFSA process over four years, resulting in chaos for families and schools reliant on financial aid. He highlighted legislative efforts by House Republicans to address these issues through H.R.8932. "The Biden-Harris admin had 4 years to fix the #FAFSA process–and failed."

On November 16, 2024, Díaz-Balart invited followers to watch his appearance on "Sunday Agenda" with Lidia News on NEWSMAX at 12:40 p.m. ET. "TUNE IN tomorrow at 12:40 p.m. ET on 'Sunday Agenda' with @LidiaNews"
