Rep. Frederica Wilson, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 24th district, has taken to social media to express her concerns over recent political developments. Her posts reflect her stance on public education and budgetary decisions affecting health care and housing.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Wilson shared her disapproval of actions she perceives as detrimental to public education, stating "It’s wrong, it’s unfair, and it’s an insane ploy to destroy public education and leave it in shambles." She urged continued support for public schools.

In a subsequent post on March 12, 2025, she criticized the current partisan budget plan for its potential impacts on key social programs. She noted that "Today’s partisan budget gives the Administration and Elon Musk a blank check to slash to health care programs, cut public school funding, gut affordable housing..." Emphasizing her opposition to these measures, she stated her decision to vote 'no.'

Continuing her critique of the Republican-led government actions on the same day, Wilson highlighted what she views as misplaced priorities by saying "The Republicans worked so hard to gain control... Congressional Republicans handed it over to an unelected billionaire who cares only about himself..."
