On March 21, 2025, Mario Díaz-Balart shared that his district team was invited to a strategic briefing on the "Swords of Iron War" with Lt. Col. Avital Leibovich, Director of AJC Global Israel. He stated that "The Iron Swords War Memorial Day honors the victims of the Hamas terrorist-led attack on Israel on Oct 7, 2023."
Later that day, Díaz-Balart conveyed a message from former President Trump regarding crime in America. He noted that "President Trump’s message is clear: We will CRACK DOWN on criminals who endanger American lives–and will hold them fully accountable under the rule of law."
