Rep. Frederica Wilson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 24th district, made several posts on her social media recently, addressing ongoing political affairs and personal commitments. Born in 1942 in Miami, Wilson has been serving in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Kendrick Meek. She was previously part of the Florida Senate and House of Representatives.

On March 26, 2025, Wilson expressed enthusiasm in a tweet about participating in a teletown hall event featuring Don Lemon and other experts. She shared, "I’m excited to be joined by Don Lemon and many experts tonight at 6 PM for a teletown hall on the recent White House executive orders and Congressional affairs. So much is happening in DC, and we’re ready to dive into the big issues together. Join us TONIGHT at 6 PM!"

Following the event, on March 27, 2025, Wilson thanked attendees of the town hall via Twitter. She stated, "Thank you for everyone who tuned in tonight to my telephone town hall. We tried to answer as many questions as possible and if you still want to relay a message to me, please call my office at (305)690-5905. To watch the full town hall, click here."

Additionally, later that day, Wilson reiterated her support for a cause she has consistently advocated for. She declared in a tweet, "Every Wednesday, I continue to wear blue to stand with the hostages until every one of them is home because enough is enough. #BringBackTheHostages"
