Mario Díaz-Balart, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 26th District, recently expressed his condolences and shared political updates via social media. Known for his tenure in both the Florida House of Representatives and Senate before joining Congress in 2003, Díaz-Balart has been an active voice on national issues.

On March 24, 2025, Díaz-Balart conveyed his sympathies following the passing of former colleague Mia Love. In his message, he stated: "My sincerest condolences to Mia Love’s family and closest friends. It was an honor to serve alongside her in Congress. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones during this difficult time."

The next day, March 25, 2025, Díaz-Balart congratulated John Phelan on his confirmation as Secretary of the Navy. He remarked on Phelan's expected contributions to national defense: "Congratulations to John Phelan on his confirmation as Secretary of the Navy! He will advance President @realDonaldTrump’s mission to strengthen our defense industrial base and revitalize the American shipbuilding industry–both commercial and military–ensuring the U.S. maintains"

Also on March 25, Díaz-Balart encouraged followers to watch Kevin Cabrera's confirmation hearing at 10 a.m. ET. He praised Cabrera's dedication: "Make sure to tune in today at 10 a.m. ET to watch my dear friend and true patriot, @KMCabreraFL, in his confirmation hearing. Kevin is committed to the cause of freedom in our region, with a clear understanding of putting America's interests first."
