Representative Frederica Wilson, who has served Florida's 24th District in the U.S. Congress since 2011, recently shared updates on various issues on social media. These updates touch on educational initiatives, social security concerns, and infrastructure developments, reflecting her ongoing commitments.

On March 31, 2025, Wilson announced an upcoming event organized by the 5000 Role Models program in Duval Schools. "The @5000RoleModels in Duval Schools is hosting its Annual Awards Luncheon April 24th. We are celebrating the achievements of our Role Models who we are so proud of. #WeAre5000"

The day after, on April 1, 2025, Wilson expressed her concerns regarding Republican actions towards Social Security. She emphasized the consequences of job cuts affecting Social Security workers. "Republicans are going after your Social Security and trying to fire Social Security workers. When you fire the people who process Social Security payments, those payments don’t go out—PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I’m fighting to protect Social Security, and I will not back down."

On April 2, 2025, Wilson discussed her recent meeting with the Partnership of Miami, focusing on the development of public transit infrastructure in Miami-Dade. She highlighted the need for reliable transit options to alleviate traffic congestion. "I met with the Partnership of Miami today to discuss ways to grow Miami-Dade’s transit infrastructure. Folks should have access to reliable and quality public transit instead of just being stuck in traffic. I’m working to ensure we can expand transit across Miami-Dade."
