The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources' Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program needs your help to restore environmentally sensitive lands in Miami-Dade County.
The EEL Program manages over 27,000 acres of land all over the county, including critically imperiled pine rocklands. While this task is not easy, together, we will help protect and restore our rare native habitats by removing invasive plants, enhancing trails, restoring native vegetation, and conducting cleanup activities.
Join us on Saturday, May 7 at Rockdale Pineland Preserve and be part of a team that helps restore these globally critical imperiled Pine Rocklands. Email eel@miamidade.gov to register.
